Since Dave and I both work at the school we decided we would take a couple weeks and the kids (including Pookey) and drive to Washington. My parents live in Seattle and recently found out they are going to be moving back to California, so it was sort of a goodbye Seattle trip for now. The kids had never been to Washington and were SO excited to go. They were packed in the car with tons of activities and DVD's for the 13 hour drive. They were super good on the way and we only had to break up fights a couple times. We did so many fun things in Washington! My dad took us sailing and an overnight on the boat. We all had such a fun time. Dave had never sailed before and the kids were scared until they saw the boat. We saw deer, sea lion, raccoon, jelly fish, star fish, and a bunch of crabs. It was so much fun to watch my dad teach Ethan how to drive the boat. the entire trip Ethan was attached to my dad at the hip! It was so cute! We showed the kids Pike Place Market and they seemed to really enjoy it especially the donuts and samples of peaches. We also took a day and went to the zoo with my friend Allison (whom the kids LOVE). It was so awesome to have my dad with us the whole time ( I can't even remember the last time I went to the zoo with my dad), however we did miss my mom a bunch, it was fun to have her hang out with us when she wasn't working. Anyways, enough boring talk, here's some pictures!
We also went on a bunch of walks...this one is to Pine Lake Park
Marymoore Park
Herring's nests
LOVE my moms smile in this one
